Summer Road Trip Vehicle Checklist

Is your vehicle ready for a road trip?

After being stuck in the house for months, you may be itching for a vacation. Dreaming of the places you can go and the people you can finally see. Many are forgoing flights this summer and opting for a road trip. Before you hit the open road, prep your car before you leave – it could save you major headaches and big hassle.

Brakes: Check brake fluid level, pads and routers.

Tires: Check tire pressure and tread for excessive or uneven wear.

Fluids: Check oil, transmission fluid, coolant and windshield washer levels.

Lights: Test headlights, brakes lights, and turn signals for faulty bulbs.

Windshield and Wipers: Inspect for chips and cracks and condition of wipers.

Air Conditioning: Check to make sure that cooling system is working efficiently.

Battery: Check condition of terminals.
