Del Grande Dealer Group and Capitol Ford Raise Funds for East Valley Family YMCA with Test-Drive Fundraising Event

SAN JOSE, Calif. (June 11, 2019) Capitol Ford, proud member of the Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG.com), the Bay Area’s largest family-owned automotive group, recently partnered with members of the local community to help raise funds for the East Valley Family YMCA at a test-drive event, as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program. More than 150 area residents test-drove a Ford vehicle at the East Valley YMCA on June 8. Capitol Ford, and Ford Motor Company donated $20 per test-drive, with funds going towards providing YMCA memberships to families.

In an effort to go further, Ford developed the Drive 4 UR Community program, which is modeled after the successful Drive 4 UR School program. To date, Ford Dealerships across the United States have helped raise more than $40 million for local schools and nonprofits, thanks to their hard work and the Drive 4 UR School and Drive 4 UR Community programs.

The event marked the start of DGDG’s Summer of Giving. Participating in the event to support the East Valley Family YMCA is just one of the many ways Del Grande Dealer Group gives back to the community through DGDG Does Good – Del Grande Does Good, the charitable arm of the DGDG dealership group. Through relationships and partnerships with charitable organizations, like Ford Drive 4 UR Community and the East Valley Family YMCA, employees participate to help those in need year-round.
