2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the only Wrangler with a 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine. Three ninety two — those numbers denote FCA’s 6.4-liter (392 cubic inch) V-8 engine. It produces 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque that is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and will do 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

The 392, which sits an inch taller than the standard Rubicon, is only offered on the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and only with the ZF eight-speed automatic, but it can be had with any of the model’s three optional roof setups.

You’ll be able to tell the Wrangler has 392 power by the Rubicon 392 badging,  the Gladiator Mojave’s hood, and the distinctive quad exhaust outlets in back. A two-inch lift over the standard Wrangler provides 10.3 inches of ground clearance, and it can clear 32.5 inches of water. It’s equipped with 33-inch all-terrain tires, Fox shocks, and Dana 44 axles.

The leather seats with bronze “Rubicon 392” embroidery stitching match the exterior’s bronze accents, and it comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Jeep’s Off-Road Pages, which display information including pitch and roll, GPS coordinates, and drivetrain power distribution. There’s a competition-style fat-rimmed steering wheel and aluminum steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. The body-color hard top and fender flares, steel bumpers, remote proximity entry, two safety packages, and the LED lighting and cold-weather group options are standard equipment.
