2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid received a makeover and now is as comfortable as your living room and really has it all.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain, makes 260 horsepower from its 3.6-liter V-6 and two electric motors backed up by a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery, and for the first time, there is an all-wheel drive option and new Pinnacle trim. According to the EPA, the Pacifica Hybrid can travel up to 33 miles on electric power and is rated at 84 MPGe combined.

The exterior now has a more SUV-like look and feel with an updated grille, exterior lighting elements, rear liftgate, and wheel design.

Inside, the Pacifica has a new 10.1-inch glossy infotainment touchscreen display with the latest Uconnect 5 interface, which offers  a reconfigurable home screen, Amazon Alexa integration, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an interior camera system to help keep tabs on kids in the back seats, and up to 12 different USB ports.

When it comes to hauling cargo and small storage, the Pacifica does not disappoint with its features. The interior is spacious and packed with cubbies, cupholders, slide-out bins, optional built-in vacuum, and hidden drawers in the back cabin.

The Pinnacle trim showcases the new optional center console that Chrysler calls Ultra,  which offers a padded top at armrest height and split storage with a top tray and a larger bin underneath.

Fold up everything by using the handy Stow ‘n Go second-row seats and you have 140.5 cubic feet. Fold down the third row and there is 87.5 cubic feet of space.

The 2021 Pacifica earned a five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and key safety features include: standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and standard adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning.
