A 1.6 liter turbocharged engine works with an electric motor and 6 speed automatic transmission to produce 242 combined horsepower and 271 lb ft of combined torque. The hybrid system delivers smooth electric assistance while achieving an EPA estimated 34 MPG city, 31 MPG highway, and 32 MPG combined. There is no need to plug in, giving families improved efficiency while maintaining the familiar flexibility of fueling with gasoline.
The Carnival MPV Hybrid provides 40.5 inches of second row legroom and 35.6 inches in the third row, giving passengers useful space throughout the cabin. Even with all three rows available for passengers, there are 40.2 cubic feet of cargo volume. Maximum cargo capacity expands to 145.1 cubic feet when more room is needed for luggage, equipment, or larger family hauls.
For 2027, available second row Captain’s Chairs on EX and SX trims provide another seating configuration and easier movement between the second and third rows. A standard 12.3 inch navigation system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while available Highway Driving Assist 2, Surround View Monitor, and Blind Spot View Monitor support busy family driving. Rear Seat Entertainment is also available exclusively on the Hybrid SX Prestige when equipped with VIP Lounge Seats.
